Spring in the Jing...Part 1

Bear with me as some of these pics date all the way back to February!

I've been spending more time in the Jing during the past two months, and it's been really nice enjoying spring here. Unfortunately, I don't have anything insightful to say, but here are some pics to show what I've been up to lately!

Mike and I eating Vietnamese food at Le Little Saigon. They have some of the best pho I've had in China!

The National Center of Performing Arts, aka the "Egg". Went here one night with some friends to listen to the Beijing Orchestra! Doesn't the egg look like a UFO spaceship emerging from the distance? Haha, I am a dork.

Drinks with Zac, Fumi and Jarter after the concert at Hex Bar, Legation Quarter. So dressed up!

Eva and I at Hex Bar

Paul, Deborah, Deelicious & Sugar Ray at Obiwan...don't they look all drunk & happy?

Walking around the street food market at Wangfujing

Bugs on skewers anybody?

Playing spit with Amy at Haodilao. It's a really popular spicy hot pot place that has a game room for its patrons while they wait for a table. I love this place! You can play cards, chess, sing KTV and even get free manicures!

Drinks with Mike and his two friends from Chi-town, Jamie & Sharon, at the Sofitel in Chaoyang

Group dinner at Dali Courtyard, a Yunnan restaurant located in a hutong near NLGX

That's it for now! I have more to show, but it's late and I'm tired. Night!
