More food!

Some recent foodie discoveries...

狗不理 (Goubuli) baozis from Tianjin. Yes, the character 狗 means dog, but this does not contain any dog meat! You can check out the meaning of 狗不理 here. It's a famous snack bun invented in Tianjin, stuffed with pork and juices on the inside. The skin was chewy, light and the bun wasn't greasy. Very yummy :)

Taiwanese food at Shin Yeh Restaurant! Pork cubes with pickled vegetables over rice. Love the sweetness of the pork!

Fatty pork and pickled vegetables stuffed in a steam bun. Drooling...

Fried squid and beancurd with green vegetables

Slow cooked tomato stew with pork, potatoes and carrots...best served over rice!

Tarantula on skewers. Ick. I did see a Chinese man walk around nibbling on one.

Live bugs...now, I try to be open minded about everything but seriously?

EWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
