After a 16-hour long journey from Beijing-Tokyo/Narita-Honolulu-Maui, we finally arrived at the Westin Maui on Friday. Our plans were slightly thwarted with the tsunami warnings on Saturday, but luckily, the waves were small ones, and the day ended as a golf tournament for the boys and a spa getaway for the girls. On Sunday, we had a triple date with two other couples - Kelvin/Julie and Bubbles/Julia, and we drove up to Hana. Monday was whale watching day and finally on Tuesday, it was wedding day!
Soaking in some sun on Friday
Dinner on the first night with Mandy and Julia
Where do you go when there's a tsunami? You move to higher ground at the Ritz!
And you watch the waves from up above
Luckily, the waves never really came
So we took a jumping pic
Later on we watched the sunset
Dinner at Aloha Mixed Plate, a local favorite
Yummy fried chicken wings, coconut prawns and fries!

We took a roadtrip to Hana the next day
It was cold and rainy but we still had time to pose for pictures (with Julie and Julia)

It was mating season so the whales were really active

The scenery was really pretty
We woke up early on Tuesday morning for a run
It was tiring but the view was worth it!
Finally it was the wedding. Here's the ladies pic, donning our dresses
